Finance Transformation

David Nicoll qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1986 and moved to Reuters then to lead a project to implement Reuters’ first Finance system in EMEA.

Since then, David has worked in Banking with HSBC, then Marketing Services at WPP for 25 years and most recently in the Legal Services world with Shearman and Sterling as a Consultant.

At WPP, David worked with Finance Leadership to drive a combined programme of work to implement common Finance Systems designed for Shared Services and at the same time transform the Finance function in markets from North America, Latin America, Europe and Asia to deliver the benefits of a central finance operation.

With a background in Accounting and the broad skills in technology and transformation, David is able to bridge the communication gap between the two functions and so best-placed to ensure that Finance Systems projects deliver the necessary value to the Finance function.
